About ROTI

After merger of Settlement wing and Consolidation wing, the delivery of service point to the people under Revenue and Disaster Management Department becomes the Tehsil Office. Moreover with enactment of Disaster Management Act, 2005, the role and responsibility of Revenue Officers increased manifold. A separate cadre called Odisha Revenue Service (ORS) was created for delivery of Services relating to Revenue Administration at the grassroots level speedily. So this Institute was created for Capacity Building of all those Officers at regular intervals in addition to Induction Training to new recruits.
